About This Site

Finding a Branch County recent arrest or booking photo starts with knowing which public office holds each record. This privately operated reference brings the official jail, police, court, custody-notification, and records-request paths together. It does not operate a roster, publish booking results, or host a gallery of booking photographs.

Why This Reference Exists

Michigan makes many government records available, but an arrest does not produce one universal file. The Branch County Sheriff’s Office runs the county jail and may maintain a booking record or photograph. City police departments hold their own incident reports. Michigan VINE provides custody information, while Branch County courts show what happened after booking. The Michigan Department of Corrections publishes eligible offender information for people in state custody or supervision, not people held only in the county jail. We organize those separate official sources and explain the proper request path when no public search exists. We store no official records and display no mugshot gallery.

Resources Collected Here

The content is arranged around common Branch County record questions:

  • The home page maps recent arrests, county jail information, booking records, photographs, warrants, and lawful correction paths.
  • Separate arrest-window pages explain the same-day check and broader report window without claiming that Branch County publishes a feed it does not provide.
  • The VINE section distinguishes a current custody check from a police report, court docket, or permanent archive.
  • City pages identify the Coldwater, Bronson, and Union City police routes and explain when the Sheriff’s Office may hold a separate jail record.
  • Request instructions show how to describe a report or photo and why the correct custodian matters.

Limits of Our Role

Branch County Recent Arrests is privately run. It has no affiliation with Michigan, Branch County, any sheriff’s office, police department, jail, court, or corrections agency. We cannot release or transfer anyone, retrieve an official record, or confirm a live custody status.

  • We cannot post bond, accept jail funds, or arrange visits.
  • We cannot change a police, jail, court, VINE, or MDOC record.
  • We cannot provide legal advice or represent a person.
  • We cannot promise that an outside office’s fee, phone number, address, or schedule has not changed.

Only the responsible government office can confirm custody, charges, release, or the contents of an official file. Links here identify where that confirmation should begin.

Search Partners and Referrals

Some pages contain search tools supplied by independent providers. Those providers control their own results, terms, and prices. If a search tool leads to a paid registration, Branch County Recent Arrests may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the site available. We do not set the provider’s price or control the records it returns.
